About Harold Hart & Associates, Inc.

Harold Hart & Associates was established in 1976 as a sole proprietorship, then formally incorporated in the State of Florida in 1979.  During the past 45+ years, the firm has established itself as a stable and diversified organization that continually delivers quality, cost-effective designs on a timely basis to each and every client.

Our experience is reflected in a diverse array of projects, including everything from small retail spaces to department stores; from individual offices to multi-story office buildings; from food courts to internationally-recognized restaurants, as well as regional and national grocery store brands. We also offer experience in automobile dealerships, warehouse and distribution facilities, institutional and recreational facilities, and renewable energy systems (solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems).

Although HHA limits its services to electrical engineering consultation and design, we have solid relationships with highly-qualified mechanical and plumbing consultants, and offer single-source MEP fees for our clients who prefer.

Leadership

Craig Kalhoefer, P.E.

President

Mr. Kalhoefer acquired the firm from Harold Hart, P.E. after 32 years in business. Since that time, he has been responsible for expanding the range of services offered by continuously tackling new challenges and pursuing additional education, research, training and staff development.
His diverse experience in engineering and design includes medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems, building electrical and low-voltage systems, and renewable energy systems. His project experience includes retail and grocery stores, dining and food service establishments, automobile dealerships, warehouse and distribution facilities, and renewable energy systems, to name just a few.
Mr. Kalhoefer's leadership experience as a former hospital executive gives him a unique understanding of clients' dual objectives of balancing their facilities design needs with their capital and operating budget limitations.
